Learning to appreciate God and give him thanks is a strong restoration factor. Many a man fail in this regard. The desire for more and more of what we desire and the regrets and questions about what have happened to us often blind us from seeing the power of the God all possibilities and giving thanks to Him in all things. ''And be ye thankful'' says the Holy Book. In all things give thanks!
We see a man called Job. The account of his life was recorded in the book of ''Job'' in the Holy Bible. The man was extra rich, very wealthy and also blessed with a good wife, sons , daughters and many servants All things were going very well in his life for quite a number of years. He rose to become the wealthiest in his continent. Suddenly things swerved downward. he lost everything- sons, daughters, servants and all his wealth in ONE DAY. The account tells us he never went to commit suicide. He never questioned God. He never blamed anybody. He never regretted anything! he went down to the temple of God and bowed and worshiped God, giving Him thanks. Though things continued to go from bad to worse, at the END we were told God restored all that he had lost and made him greater than before, and I quote: Job 42:12- So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. As you learn to give thanks to the Almighty in all things may your latter end be blessed more than the beginning in Jesus Name.
